Job Description

Help Build the Future of Engineering Operations. Do you love solving messy operational problems, making sense of complex systems, and building scalable ways of working where none currently exist? We’re looking for a Technology Analyst – Operations to help shape and mature Engineering Operations within a large-scale SaaS environment. This isn’t a “keep the lights on” operations role — it’s an opportunity to help define how operational excellence works across Engineering. You’ll partner with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and Support teams to improve application health visibility, service reliability, operational analytics, and core operational processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management. If you get excited about dashboards, telemetry, system behavior, operational trends, process design, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and turning chaos into clarity — this role was built for you.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Improve Application Health & Reliability: Help Engineering teams answer critical questions such as: Is the application healthy? Are services degrading before customers notice? What operational signals matter most? How do we reduce noise while improving visibility?
  • Observability and Monitoring: You’ll work with observability and monitoring platforms to: Build dashboards and service health reporting, Analyze operational trends and performance patterns, Improve alert quality and escalation logic, Support implementation of APM and telemetry capabilities, Help Engineering teams operationalize reliability practices.
  • Build Operational Processes: Build Operational Processes That Engineers Actually Want to Use. We’re standing up modern Engineering Operations practices — and we want pragmatic, lightweight processes that help teams move faster, not slower. Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Operational governance practices, Service reliability workflows.
  • Connect Systems, Data, and Teams: Engineering systems, Operational analytics, Process design, Cross-functional collaboration. You’ll help reduce fragmentation across tools and workflows while improving operational visibility across the organization.
  • Explore What’s Next: We’re especially interested in candidates excited about modern operational tooling and emerging technologies, including: AI-enabled operations, Intelligent workflows, Automation opportunities, AI agents and operational copilots, Advanced telemetry and observability practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical & Operational Experience: Engineering Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Technical Operations, Operational Analytics, SaaS or Cloud Operations.
  • Familiarity With Tools & Concepts: Jira Service Management, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Observability & telemetry platforms, Incident / Problem / Change Management.
  • Additional Skills We’d Love: SQL and operational data analysis, APIs and system integrations, AWS or cloud platform experience, Data visualization and dashboarding, AI tooling, automation, or AI agents, Atlassian ecosystem experience (Jira, Confluence, Assets).
