The predicted salary is between 25870 - 30265 £ per year.
Hours: 29.6 hours per week (the service typically runs Monday to Friday office hours but with flexibility to provide evening support groups and appointments as required). This role is 4 days per week, and the successful candidate can choose their preferred days.
Location: Based in Grantham to cover South Kesteven and North Kesteven area (with a requirement to be flexible to service need).
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Beacon Friends and Family Service. The service provides a safe place for anyone affected by somebody else's use of drugs or alcohol.
As a Family and Affected Others Practitioner, we offer a starting salary of £25,870 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £30,265 per year (Pro-Rata). Main Responsibilities:
- Support adults, young people, and children over the age of 5 who have been affected by substance use.
- Provide information and advice tailored to personal circumstances and goals.
- Equip those you support with the knowledge, tools, and emotional resilience needed to navigate the impact of substance use.
- Work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis, including both face-to-face and online delivery.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Lived experience and knowledge of the issues experienced by those affected by substance use issues.
- Experience and knowledge of effective caseload management including assessing, managing risk, confidentiality and consent, and boundaries.
- Knowledge of engagement and support strategies.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- Ability to manage own time, prioritise and maintain accountability for own work.
