An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Turning Point Leicestershire and Rutland Substance Use Service as the North Leicestershire & Rutland Team Manager. You will lead and have oversight of two of our teams within the service; the Loughborough Team and the Melton & Rutland Team and you will be responsible for the performance and development of these teams. This role will be based at our Loughborough hub. You will support the service in maintaining excellent standards of treatment and care for our service users and will oversee the implementation of treatment pathways for people affected by their use of substances. You will work with a range of partner agencies and represent the service in a variety of settings, promoting the service and encouraging referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee two teams: the Loughborough Team and the Melton & Rutland Team.
  • Support the service in maintaining excellent standards of treatment and care for service users.
  • Oversee the implementation of treatment pathways for people affected by substance use.
  • Work with partner agencies and represent the service in various settings, promoting the service and encouraging referrals.
  • Travel across Loughborough, Melton, and Rutland to different Turning Point sites and external venues; requires access to a car and a driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing teams and supervising staff at different levels.
  • Experience of line management, supervision, and coaching.
  • Strong understanding of treatment services and service user engagement.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to lead a discussion to constructive conclusions and the ability to give feedback.
  • Experience of successfully managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships.
  • Time management skills – working under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Experience in evaluation techniques and the ability to adapt practice to get results.
  • Experience in report writing and analysing data and records.
  • Highly motivated and engaging with a passion for supporting people.

Benefits

  • Salary: Starting salary £36,200 with annual pay progression up to £42,349.
