Turning Point is a leading health and social care social enterprise that provides support for drug and alcohol use, mental health, learning disability, sexual health, and employment needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns, as well as planning and delivering community engagement activity and local events that build awareness, reduce stigma, and help people access the support they need. The role will be primarily based at our Hinckley hub, with regular travel required to our other locations in Coalville, Loughborough and Oakham.
As the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator, you’re responsible for ensuring that Leicestershire and Rutland services are reaching their target audiences in a consistent, engaging, and effective way that increases numbers in treatment. You’ll build relationships across the organisation to understand challenges and work quickly to provide advice, create communications, and recommend marketing activities using online and offline channels.
Some of your regular activities will include:
- Support Turning Point’s joint work with local partners to help integrate services within the Local Integrated Care Network and wider community initiatives
- Work alongside Partnership Managers to contribute to the development and delivery of the service’s marketing and promotion plans
- Plan, coordinate and deliver an annual calendar of awareness events, ensuring activity aligns with best practice and local priorities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community groups, including engagement with diverse and underrepresented communities
- Support internal communications across Leicestershire and Rutland services, helping to ensure a consistent approach to health promotion
- Assist in the development of written and digital marketing materials across a range of formats and channels
- Work with partners and stakeholders to promote services and support efforts to increase engagement and referrals
- Manage and update social media channels and online content, monitoring performance and suggesting improvements
- Create and distribute regular service newsletters and communications
- Represent Turning Point at community and professional events, as well as attending meetings and training where required
- Support communication with Local Authorities and partners on joint initiatives, pathways and campaigns
- Contribute to the consultation and co-production of communications with service users and staff
