Salary: £12.60 – £13.13 per hour

Annual: £24,242 – £25,262.12

Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Bridge of Weir are looking for Full and Part-Time Support Practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Support 4 service users with daily tasks and routines, including managing finances, prompting, encouragement and administering medication, as required.
  • Assist with home chores and daily living activities; accompany service users to meals out or leisure activities such as an ice cream by the sea in Largs on a warm day.
  • Support attendance at weekly clubs (art, drama, boccia, music group) and participate in activities that provide enjoyment and engagement.
  • Potentially support someone on a holiday, subject to service needs.

Hours, shifts and travel

  • The people who use our services require 24-hour support; shifts may include sleepovers.
  • We work a 37-hour working week (not 40 hours).
  • Additional payment of £100.80 per sleepover shift.
  • Travel allowances: when using your car for work, paid travel time and costs for public transport or 45p per mile if driving.
