Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Bridge of Weir are looking for Full and Part-Time Support Practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Support 4 service users with daily tasks and routines, including managing finances, prompting, encouragement and administering medication, as required.
- Assist with home chores and daily living activities; accompany service users to meals out or leisure activities such as an ice cream by the sea in Largs on a warm day.
- Support attendance at weekly clubs (art, drama, boccia, music group) and participate in activities that provide enjoyment and engagement.
- Potentially support someone on a holiday, subject to service needs.
Hours, shifts and travel
- The people who use our services require 24-hour support; shifts may include sleepovers.
- We work a 37-hour working week (not 40 hours).
- Additional payment of £100.80 per sleepover shift.
- Travel allowances: when using your car for work, paid travel time and costs for public transport or 45p per mile if driving.
