Turning Point Scotland’s Service in Dumfries & Galloway is seeking a natural leader to join us in a role that is challenging, rewarding, and far from routine. As an Assistant Service Co-ordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting adults with a wide range of needs, offering person-centred support and working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

You’ll take on a leadership role in our Hera Grange Service, Dumfries ensuring the delivery of high-quality, individualised care & support alongside a well-established team. We believe that the values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity are essential to everything we do.

About the Role

  • Support the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to lead day to day operations at Hera Grange, ensuring consistent, person-centred care that reflects our values.
  • Play an active role in supervision, appraisals, and the ongoing development of your team.
  • Be the first port of call when challenges arise, making calm, thoughtful decisions that keep people safe.
  • Lead the development and review of individual support plans that reflect each person’s goals, rights and aspirations.
  • Promote a positive work culture, of inclusion, safety, and empowerment.
  • Build genuine connections with families, external agencies and the wider community, to support full Citizenship for the people we support.
  • Support service users to engage in the meaningful activities that they choose.
  • Promote the highest standards of health, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Lead on practice which is grounded in evidence-based approaches, like positive behaviour support, to guide your team and improve outcomes for those you support.

Where there is a requirement for sleepover shifts, you will receive, on top of your £15.62 ph, an additional £100.80 for every sleepover shift you work!
