OverviewFinance Director – Turning Lives AroundHours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Salary: £75,000 per annum. Location: Photon House, Percy Street, Armley, Leeds, LS12 1EL. Accountable To: Chief Executive. Responsible For: Finance Team Leader, IT Manager, Properties Senior Manager.Turning Lives Around is a charity that operates multiple supported housing schemes for adults and young people (aged 16-25) experiencing multiple complex disadvantages. As Finance Director, you will lead the finance function and contribute to the strategic development of the organisation. This is an opportunity to join during a period of development, following the organisation’s first Ofsted inspection for the young people’s service and ongoing work to secure Registered Provider status for social housing.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic financial planning and oversee operations such as budgeting, payroll, cash-flow management, and statutory reporting.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance standards.Join the Senior Leadership Team and play a meaningful role in directing Turning Lives Around.Person Specification / QualificationsWe are looking for a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with experience in strategic and operational financial management. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
