Work areas β Hertfordshire and North East London
Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 β 16:00
Salary Β£30-Β£45k plus company pension
Arboriculture Subcontractors on short to medium term contracts welcome to apply β rates negotiable
Responsibilities
- Tree Surgery
- Chipping and processing brash and timber
- Providing aerial rescue
- Adhering to Health & Safety practices at all times
- Carrying out arborist activities in a professional manner
- Potentially run a team within project and contractual requirements
- Liaising with the client, other professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
- Assessing and minimising risk
- Stump grinding operations
- CS31 β Fell small trees
- CS38 β Climb trees & perform aerial rescue
- CS39 β Operate the chainsaw from a rope & harness
- Brushwood chipper operations (NPTC) or Lantra
- First Aid at work + F
- Knowledge of Chapter 8 signing, lighting and guarding
Qualifications & Requirements
- Be highly motivated and able to work to an extremely high standard of both safety and quality
- 2 years climbing experience
- Tow chippers / trailers licence
- C1 licence entitlement
