Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities, including feasibility estimating, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, tender evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, fee generation, dispute resolution, and post-contract administration.
- Promote a safe and secure working environment while supporting the organisation's values and culture.
- Foster team engagement, collaboration, and high performance.
- Drive performance standards through effective communication, coaching, and performance management practices.
- Contribute to a range of projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and project stakeholders.
- Communicate project scope, responsibilities, and expectations clearly to ensure effective project delivery.
- Manage and oversee service delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
- A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services within the MEP space
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
- Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients
- Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
- Previous experience within Health or Life Sciences is preferrable,
