Role Overview
This role involves planning and scheduling temperature‑controlled deliveries to customer sites, ensuring an efficient, timely, and cost‑effective transport operation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the delivery and collection of goods to various customer delivery points.
- Ensure optimal use of fleet and driver resources.
- Maintain accurate records using in‑house systems (training will be provided).
- Support operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
- Adapt to changes in schedule and resolve transport‑related issues promptly.
Working Hours
Sunday to Thursday 10am until 7pm with 1 hour for breaks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a transport background is beneficial but not essential (full training will be given).
- Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
- Good geographical knowledge (preferred).
- IT literate with strong organisational and communication skills.
