Role Overview

This role involves planning and scheduling temperature‑controlled deliveries to customer sites, ensuring an efficient, timely, and cost‑effective transport operation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the delivery and collection of goods to various customer delivery points.
  • Ensure optimal use of fleet and driver resources.
  • Maintain accurate records using in‑house systems (training will be provided).
  • Support operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
  • Adapt to changes in schedule and resolve transport‑related issues promptly.

Working Hours

Sunday to Thursday 10am until 7pm with 1 hour for breaks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a transport background is beneficial but not essential (full training will be given).
  • Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Good geographical knowledge (preferred).
  • IT literate with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation

Starting at £28k based on experience.
