Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Counterbalance Driver to join our busy Warehouse team at our Newmarket depot. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards of work, and brings a strong "can do" attitude to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently in line with licence requirements and company procedures.
  • Load and unload vehicles using a slipsheet attachment.
  • Work as part of the wider warehouse team, including within frozen storage areas reaching -18°C.
  • Carry out manual handling of stock.
  • Accurately complete paperwork such as load plans and pallet counts.
  • Ensure drivers comply with dock procedures, including key hand-in protocols.
  • Always maintain full compliance with company and safety standards.
  • Able to work consistently to a high standard without constant supervision.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and dependable.
  • Holds a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence with relevant experience.
