Evolve Supply Chain is seeking a skilled and reliable Nightshift Fitter/Technician to join our team, maintaining and repairing LGVs, trailers, vans, and cars to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Hours & Compensation: 44 hours per week, 4 full nights + 4 hours on a Friday. Salary: £47,949.63 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, and repair a range of commercial vehicles.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and vehicle defects as required.
- Complete workshop documentation accurately and on time.
- Collaborate closely with drivers, team leaders and the wider workshop team.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in LGV Maintenance & Repair.
- Time-served apprenticeship in LGV Maintenance.
- Current LGV Licence.
- Experience working on LGVs/trailers.
- Good knowledge of transport legislation and vehicle compliance.
- Team player with a flexible approach to nightshift working.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
