Evolve Supply Chain is seeking a skilled and reliable Nightshift Fitter/Technician to join our team, maintaining and repairing LGVs, trailers, vans, and cars to the highest safety and compliance standards.

Hours & Compensation: 44 hours per week, 4 full nights + 4 hours on a Friday. Salary: £47,949.63 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service, and repair a range of commercial vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns and vehicle defects as required.
  • Complete workshop documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate closely with drivers, team leaders and the wider workshop team.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in LGV Maintenance & Repair.
  • Time-served apprenticeship in LGV Maintenance.
  • Current LGV Licence.
  • Experience working on LGVs/trailers.
  • Good knowledge of transport legislation and vehicle compliance.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to nightshift working.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
