HGV Driver Trainer in Newmarket

As part of the Turners Training Team, you will be involved in a range of key activities, including:

• Training and developing new drivers
• Conducting driver assessments
• Delivering classroom-based training
• Providing CPC training
• Supporting driver interviews
• Helping to plan, design, and deliver training courses
• Contributing to the smooth and effective running of the Training Department

Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, though some flexibility may be required depending on operational needs. This is a full time, permanent position.

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and safety-focused driver who is passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others excel. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years\’ HGV driving experience (more preferred)
• A clean driving record with low infringements
• Strong, professional driving standards
• Excellent communication skills
• A solid understanding of road laws and regulations
• High attention to detail
• Patience and a supportive attitude
• Flexibility – this is a varied and dynamic role
• A proactive, team-focused approach
• Good organisational skills
• A passion for developing others and promoting safe, professional driving
• Previous training experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right person
