Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned Transport Company. We are looking to recruit a Gatehouse Operative working within the Traffic Department based in Newmarket. Shift pattern – 4 on 4 off, 07:00-19:00. Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum D.O.E.

Responsibilities

  • Control arrivals and departures to and from the site.
  • Accurately record data in our internal computer system.
  • Ensure procedures are followed by employees and visitors.
  • Checks of driver paperwork and fridge temperatures.

Qualifications

  • Computer literate.
  • Be able to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner.
