Turners (Soham) Ltd is one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK and an opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Depot Manager to lead our Grangemouth operation. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for all aspects of depot performance, compliance, and customer service.
The successful candidate will have experience in a depot management role and hold a valid international CPC qualification.
Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for day‑to‑day management of the depot, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
- Self‑motivated planning for the depot.
- Effective management of resources and ensuring optimal utilisation.
- Administration of wages and PODs, working with one other office staff member.
- Strong management and interpersonal skills, thoroughness to meet compliance schedules, and dedication to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Cover out‑of‑hours on‑call duties.
