Turners Soham Ltd is one of the largest privately owned transport companies in the UK. Based at our head office, near Newmarket, our Finance team are expanding and currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm
Contract: Full time, initially for Maternity cover with potential to become permanent.
Our Accounts Receivable/ Sales ledger department are primarily responsible for checking, coding, and processing all documents on to our accounting programme with any ad hoc duties that may be required within our busy, friendly, relaxed department. A financial timetable is followed to ensure all sales invoices, IDT's and recharges for all our depots across the UK and our Inter Company recharges are posted to the periodic management accounts on deadline.
This role will also include the daily record keeping, invoice processing and allocation of our Fuel plan for deliveries and usage across our depots and intercompanies. Full training will be given, some knowledge of Excel would be required.
We are looking for someone who is hard working and can work well under pressure, as well as conscientious with an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and able to work as part of the team. No prior experience is necessary, although beneficial, as full training will be provided.
