Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 food grade tanker drivers to be based at our Wissington depot PE33 9QG.
Shifts are available Monday to Friday, day shift with overtime.
Responsibilities
As a professional driver you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent customer service. Working for our Food Grade Division you will develop close working relationships with planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close‑knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. The haulage industry involves varying hours and timings and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times. Shift lengths vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times. As a large and ever‑expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience and we are also keen to take on experienced drivers and recognise the knowledge and strengths you can bring to the organisation.
Qualifications
- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC & Tacho Card
- Tanker experience (preferred) but not essential
- Minimum PPE of safety boots
