Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit LGV Class 1 Day and Tramper Drivers to be based at our Castleford Depot on General Haulage. Days β Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 β 07:00 Tramping β Nights out Monday to Friday, occassional run back in on Saturday depending on workload. Start times between 02:00 β 05:00 As a professional driver you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent customer service. Working for our general haulage you will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Successful applicants MUST have the following:
- Full HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence
- Driver CPC & Tacho Card
- Minimum 6 months experience preferred.
- (No test drives can take place without these documents and Minimum PPE of Safety Boots)
