Working as a mobile engineer as an individual and as part of a team: responsible for the installation, service, maintenance of works on customer sites across the country.

Attending emergency call outs to carry out repairs to a variety of door types: Industrial roller doors and equipment, high speed doors, sectional overhead doors & roller shutters, hinged steel doors

Fault finding and diagnosis along with advising customers of potential faults and how these can be rectified.

This will be based on Working a standard 40 hour per week and overtime and as part of the company\'s call out rota system, salary dependent on knowledge and is negotiable

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills, Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and also as a team.
  • Clear communication both verbally and in writing is an essential part of this role.
  • Completion of manual job sheets.
  • Organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload.
  • Capable of manual work, lifting and use of mechanical aids.

An experienced engineer with proven background in the repair , installation and maintenance of the following products: company vehicle can be provided to be discussed at interview stage and dependent on experience

  • All types of Manual and Electronic Industrial Doors
  • High speed and Sectional Overhead, roller shutter doors (Manual & Electronic)

Required experience:

  • Industrial Engineering: 2 years

Preferred licences or certifications: (Training can be provided)

  • Driving License
  • IPAF Certificate
  • PASMA Certificate
  • Level 2 Award in Industrial & Garage Door Safety
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent all above not necessary as training can be provided

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
