We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team. The role involves delivering and offloading a variety of building materials using an 18-tonne HIAB lorry. Deliveries will include items such as bulk bags, paving slabs, fencing, and other construction supplies to both trade and domestic customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 (18T) HIAB vehicle for local deliveries
  • Use HIAB crane to offload materials at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately
  • Provide a high level of customer service on every delivery

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with general yard duties when required
  • Help load/unload vehicles in the yard
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of vehicles and yard areas

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid HIAB / lorry loader certificate (preferable)
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous experience with HIAB deliveries preferred
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering building materials
  • Knowledge of local area and routes
