We're on the lookout for a switched-on, detail-driven HR Administrator to join our busy HR function. If you enjoy variety, keep a cool head when things get hectic, and genuinely care about giving employees a great experience, this could be a great fit.

You’ll be involved across the whole employee journey - from the moment someone applies, through their first days on the job, right up to handling more sensitive HR matters and supporting broader people initiatives. You’ll work hand-in-hand with line managers and staff throughout the business to keep HR processes running smoothly, staying compliant and people-first at every step.

The role of HR Administrator will involve:

  • Helping run recruitment activity and making sure candidates have a smooth, positive journey from application to job offer
  • Organising pre-start paperwork, onboarding schedules and induction plans for new joiners
  • Carrying out right-to-work verification and other compliance checks
  • Keeping HR systems and employee files accurate and up to date
  • Drafting HR paperwork such as letters, records and meeting summaries
  • Providing admin support during disciplinary meetings, grievance hearings and investigations, including note-taking and filing
  • Helping refine and improve HR policies and workflows over time
  • Getting involved in broader HR team projects as they come up
  • Making sure everything you do stays aligned with UK employment law and internal policy
  • Acting as a helpful, reliable point of contact for managers and staff with HR queries

You’re a personable, well-organised HR professional who takes real pride in doing things properly and building good working relationships. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Some background in an HR admin, coordinator or generalist capacity
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards one)
  • A solid grasp of HR practices and UK employment law
  • Great people skills - you communicate clearly and build trust easily
  • A methodical, well-structured way of working
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong admin capability
