TurnerFox Recruitment are looking for an experienced Governance Support professional to join a busy Government organisation on a long-term temporary basis.

This is a varied role providing high-level administrative and governance support to senior leaders, boards and committees. You will be responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing and distributing documentation, taking accurate minutes and ensuring actions and deadlines are followed through.

The role of Temporary Governance Support will include:

• Coordinating Board, committee and senior management meetings
• Preparing agendas, meeting packs and supporting documentation
• Taking and producing accurate, professional minutes
• Maintaining action trackers and forward plans
• Liaising with senior managers, directors and key stakeholders
• Diary and meeting coordination
• Providing general governance and secretariat administration

The role of Temporary Governance Support We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced P.A. Secretary or Administrator with diary management and meeting organisation experience
• Previous experience of taking formal minutes is essential, ideally gained within a governance, public sector, regulated or similarly structured environment.
• Highly organised, accurate and confident working with senior stakeholders.
• You will need excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
• This is a long-term temporary opportunity, currently expected to continue until at least March 2027.
