Sutton in Ashfield c£31k, Monday-Friday - Days
We are working with our highly successful and well-established engineering manufacturing client to recruit an experienced production coordinator to support their production and assembly operations. This role focuses on the planning, coordination, and control of material flow and labour resources across all assembly areas, ensuring production targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards are met.
The role of Production Coordinator will involve:
- Coordinate material flow and labour resources to support production targets
- Liaise across departments to ensure smooth production and process alignment
- Work closely with Production Managers, Team Leaders, Stores, and Engineering to ensure build lanes are prepared and ready for assembly
- Monitor KPIs relating to efficiency, wait times, and quality
- Support stock control and logistics of metalwork and components
- Maintain quality standards, housekeeping, and 5S practices
- Use production systems daily for data collection and reporting
- Attend production meetings as required
The Ideal Candidate for the role of Production Coordinator will have:
- Experience in a production coordination, scheduling, manufacturing, or coordination role
- Ideally experienced within an engineering environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills - confident working across multiple departments
- Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience of supporting process improvement
- Quality-focused with a proactive approach
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
