Field Service Engineer Location: M4 corridor, locations between Bristol and Swindon and Donnington
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Vehicle
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to handle fault requests, perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and provide out-of-hours (OOH) support for high-end, large-scale integrated security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair complex Analogue & Digital CCTV Systems across public highways, shopping malls, custodial facilities, and general areas.
- Manage and maintain functional and managed control rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service while working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Update the helpdesk on job status and outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in repair & maintenance of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, or fire systems).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering (advantageous).
- A valid driving license.
- Flexibility with working hours when required.
- Desirable experience with: PIDs, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech, CEM Access Control, Synergy, Video Matrix Systems, IP Systems, Networks, RAID Recording, and first-line repairs on gates & barriers.
