TurnerFox Recruitment have an immediate temporary opportunity for an experienced Programme Support Officer to join a dynamic team delivering a high-impact programme. This is your chance to play a vital role in a major capital programme involving environmental projects such as Mine Water Treatment Schemes and contaminated land remediation. What You will Be Doing as Programme Support Officer:
- Supporting both project and programme-level reporting, keeping internal systems efficient and information flowing seamlessly to key stakeholders.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of a multi-million-pound capital programme
- Managing project data: plans, LiDAR mapping, service/magic website searches
- Handling first-level invoice approvals and prepping for project manager sign-off
- Maintaining electronic sourcing, requisition, and payment systems
- Preparing documentation including reports, case studies, and business cases
- Coordinating regular project reviews and maintaining programme trackers
- Supporting contract admin and working alongside procurement teams
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors, and external partners
- Collating and comparing financial and progress reports to flag issues early
What experience we are looking for:
- Proven background in project support or administration
- Experience working on large-scale projects or programmes
- Strong with MS Office and general document management
- Knowledge of project management processes (PRINCE2 Foundation is a bonus!)
- Great communicator - both written and verbal
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to juggle priorities with confidence
- You will be available to start work within a week
