We're looking for an experienced Film Graphic Designer / Graphic Designer / Graphic Artist to join a busy and creative Art Department in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a passion for film, visual storytelling and production design to work across a varied range of creative projects.
You'll be responsible for developing graphic design and artwork for film and commercial productions, creating the visual details that help bring stories, characters and environments to life. Your work could include film graphics, branding, signage, posters, packaging, printed materials, props, artwork, set graphics and on-screen visual assets.
Working alongside Production Designers, Art Directors, Directors, Producers, Editors and Animators, you'll take creative ideas from initial concept through to finished, production-ready artwork and filming.
Key Skills & Experience
- 4+ years' professional graphic design experience, ideally within a creative agency, studio, film, TV, commercial or production environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong graphic design skills across print, digital and physical production.
- An excellent eye for typography, colour, composition, layout and visual detail.
- The ability to interpret creative briefs and develop high-quality, production-ready artwork.
- Experience creating artwork for print, signage, props, packaging, branding and physical set environments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight production deadlines.
- Confidence working collaboratively with creative and production teams.
- The ability to present, explain and develop creative ideas.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine "let's make it happen" attitude.
