Are you a recently qualified Electrical Apprentice, Junior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician or Project Engineer looking to move away from site work and into a technical office-based engineering role? Do you want to learn from an industry expert with over 30 years' experience and build a long-term career within engineering projects and commercial operations? The Role of Engineering Administrator
Working alongside an experienced senior engineer, you will learn how to review customer requirements, interpret technical documentation and prepare quotations for bespoke engineering projects. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within estimating, project engineering or commercial engineering.
You will be involved in:
- Reviewing technical specifications and customer requirements
- Preparing quotations and project costings
- Working with engineering and procurement teams to obtain technical and pricing information
- Liaising with customers regarding project enquiries
- Attending occasional site visits to gain a better understanding of projects
- Supporting the delivery of quotations for a wide variety of engineering projects
- Learning how to assess project requirements and identify potential risks
The Candidate for Engineering Administrator
This role would suit someone who has a technical or electrical background and is looking for a long-term career away from the tools. To be successful you will need:
