About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Administrator to take ownership of our clients freelancer and contractor engagement process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on getting the detail right, enjoys building relationships, and has hands-on experience navigating IR35 legislation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing our freelancer platform end-to-end, keeping all records accurate and up to date
- Acting as the primary point of contact for our contractor and freelance talent pool
- Working closely with internal managers to define project requirements and agree day rates
- Sourcing, screening, and matching contractors to project briefs based on skills and suitability
- Administering IR35 status determinations for all contractor engagements in line with current HMRC off-payroll working rules
- Ensuring all contracts, agreements, and compliance documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Escalating complex IR35 determinations where appropriate
- Coordinating smooth onboarding for all new freelancer engagements
- Collaborating with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and timely contractor payments
- Continuously improving and streamlining the contractor engagement process
What We’re Looking For
- Solid, demonstrable knowledge of IR35 and UK off-payroll working rules - this is essential
- Previous experience in a compliance, contractor coordination, freelancer management, or resourcing role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- A process-driven, detail-oriented mindset with a natural inclination towards governance and structure
- Familiarity with creative, marketing, or production industry freelance markets and day rates
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
- Able to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and Finance functions
