Turner Fox Recruitment is working with a well-established business to recruit a Sales Office Administrator to join their busy Sales and Estimating team.
This is a varied role suited to someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment and is confident dealing with customers, processing enquiries and supporting a wider sales team.
The Role of Sales Office Administrator
Working alongside the Sales and Estimating team, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support and help ensure customer enquiries and quotations are processed accurately and efficiently.
Your duties are likely to include
- Logging new customer enquiries received by email and post
- Recording enquiry details onto the estimating system
- Preparing and printing relevant documentation
- Creating and maintaining quotation folders
- Acting as a first point of contact for general customer enquiries
- Answering telephone calls and taking messages for the Sales team
- Making follow-up calls to customers regarding quotations
- Obtaining customer feedback and passing this back to the Sales team
- Updating the estimating system with new supplier prices and discount structures
- Assisting with the creation of new estimating kits
- Supporting Sales and Estimating Engineers with quotation preparation
- Completing customer documentation and compliance schedules
- Preparing and sending completed quotations to customers
- Maintaining accurate records and filing
- Scanning, copying, typing and general office administration
- Liaising with other departments as required
- Attending meetings when required
- Supporting the Sales team with general administration duties
- For the role of Sales Office Administrator, we're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience within sales administration, office administration or customer service
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident telephone and communication skills
- Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain information on computer systems
- Comfortable dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
- Reliable, organised and professional
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
