We are looking for an experienced Freelance Camera Operator / Editor who can take a production from shoot to delivery. You will be equally comfortable behind the camera and in the edit suite, working across a varied portfolio of commercial video content for major national and international brands.
Based in the East Midlands, this is an ongoing freelance opportunity with regular project availability at a well-equipped studio facility, plus location work across the UK and occasionally overseas.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Professional film production experience
- Proven ability to set up and operate a range of professional camera systems
- Strong knowledge of codecs, formats and resolutions, including exporting for multiple delivery requirements
- Confident recording sound on location using radio and boom microphones
- Solid understanding of lighting set-ups
- Fast and proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
- Ability to work with production teams on pre-production - shot lists, schedules and creative planning
- Organised approach to kit management and maintenance
- Comfortable managing last-minute client changes calmly and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - regular client-facing location work
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
