We have a great opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant/administrator to join a highly successful local business. There will also be an opportunity to progress for the right candidate.
The role of accounts assistant will involve:
- Working as part of a small team and assisting with accounts administration
- Inputting of sales and purchase invoices onto Sage system
- Dealing with general accounting queries, reconciling statements and requesting credit notes
- Bank reconciliations and movements
- Processing of petty cash and office receipts, inputting of mileage and expenses
- Covering reception and meeting and greeting clients
- General office duties as required
The ideal candidate for the role of accounts assistant will have:
- Experience of using Sage accounting systems
- Accounts assistant/accounts administrator experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Good organised administration experience
- Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel
