Are you an organised administrator with great attention to detail? TurnerFox Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Stores Administration Assistant to join their busy Stores and Materials team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, has strong administrative skills, and is confident working with stock, purchasing and ERP systems.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the efficient running of the stores department, ensuring stock records are accurate and materials are available to support production. Duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory data within the ERP system
- Processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
- Monitoring stock levels, allocations and material availability
- Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving inventory issues
- Assisting with cycle counts and annual stock takes
- Raising purchase orders and progressing supplier deliveries
- Running stock and inventory reports
- Creating and maintaining product and part records
- Supporting Production Planning and Purchasing teams
- Liaising with Stores, Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics departments
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within stores, purchasing, logistics or manufacturing
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience using an ERP or stock control system would be advantageous
- Good organisational and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A proactive approach with excellent problem‑solving skills
