We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permit Controller to join our dynamic team in Stevenage. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the Capital Projects team in the management of contractor activities by issuing General and Supplemental Permit to work, and to support monitoring of contractors on projects.
To fulfil the role of General Permit Issuer, and Supplemental Permit Issuer as defined in VQD-SOP-005517:
- Fulfil responsibilities of the System modifier VQD-SOP-005106 Fire System Management Program communication of potential fire system impairment
- Provide support for EHS Audits
- Contractor Competency assurance
- Management of high-risk activities
- Ensure area hand backs are satisfactory to standards
- Collate and present H&S related statistical data
- Support accident and incident investigations
- Engage with Local EHS Representatives
- Engage with Area Owners and notify of disruption, facilitate Gemba walks and area handover
Qualifications:
- CSCS card (White / Black)
- SMSTS
- NEBOSH Diploma
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Extensive Construction industry experience
- Knowledge of CDM 2015
