To deliver H&S and CDM consultancy services from our Manchester office to existing and new clients. The scope of services delivered by the role-holder are flexible, dependent upon the Client’s requirements, covering both CDM and H&S Management. The key requirements of the role are to understand the Clients’ needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges and ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting their needs and expectations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide expert advice and where required, helping the client manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulations.
- Establishing positive relations with existing and new clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate.
- Representing Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner including meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with Clients in a timely manner.
- Contribution to all commissions, where responsibility is assigned, to ensure both Client's expectations / scope of service and the requirements of Turner & Townsend's business management system are effectively discharged.
- Carrying out H&S performance reviews, audits etc. on behalf of the Client.
Qualifications Skills Profile
- Knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations.
- Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired.
- Experience as a CDM Principal Designer would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills to generate reports and documents – essential.
- Creative thinker.
Education and Professional Qualifications
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Full UK driving licence.
- NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent).
