Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Share Point Administrator & Consultant to support, administer, and optimise enterprise Share Point and Microsoft 365 environments.

This role requires expertise across both Share Point Online and Share Point Server (2016, 2019 and Subscription Edition), including farm administration, governance, security, automation, migration, and hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and well‑governed collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Share Point Server Administration
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and support Share Point Server 2016, 2019 and Subscription Edition farms
  • Manage farm topology, service applications, Central Administration, and farm‑level services
  • Perform Share Point patching, upgrades, maintenance, and health checks
  • Monitor platform availability, performance, and capacity
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
  • Troubleshoot complex Share Point farm and infrastructure issues
  • Microsoft 365 & Share Point Online
  • Administer Share Point Online and Microsoft 365 tenant services
  • Manage sites, hub sites, permissions, metadata, and information architecture
  • Support migration and modernisation initiatives
  • Integrate Share Point with Microsoft Teams, One Drive, and other Microsoft 365 services
  • Implement governance, lifecycle, compliance, and security controls
  • Infrastructure, Automation & Support
  • Configure and troubleshoot IIS and Share Point web applications
  • Support Share Point‑related SQL Server environments and basic performance analysis
  • Develop administrative automation using Power Shell, Pn P Power Shell, and Microsoft Graph
  • Support hybrid Share Point environments spanning on‑premises and Microsoft 365
  • Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials
  • Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years (Senior) or 10 years (Expert) Share Point administration experience
