The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality advice on the full range of employment law matters, including:
- Contentious and non-contentious employment issues
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Advisory work on dismissals, discrimination, whistleblowing, and TUPE
- Senior exits, settlement agreements, and workplace investigations
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Significant post-qualification experience in employment law (typically 8 PQE, but flexible depending on experience)
- Experience operating at partner level or as a senior associate ready for partnership
- Strong technical expertise across employment law
- Proven ability to manage matters independently
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
- Business development experience or a demonstrable interest in developing a practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Existing client following
- Experience advising either employers, senior individuals, or both
