This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data, technology, customer journeys, and commercial thinking to create measurable business impact.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of the business's CRM and marketing automation platform, helping to shape how customer data, communications, and automation strategies support commercial growth.
  • This is not a role focused solely on sending email campaigns and updating records. You will become the internal expert for automation, segmentation, customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, and CRM performance, working closely with leadership to maximise the value of the platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and optimising the CRM and marketing automation platform
  • Building and maintaining automated customer journeys
  • Developing audience segmentation strategies across multiple brands
  • Creating lifecycle marketing campaigns that improve engagement and conversion
  • Monitoring campaign performance and identifying optimisation opportunities
  • Maintaining data quality, accuracy, and compliance within the CRM
  • Producing reporting and insights to support business decision-making
  • Working with internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities
  • Supporting the ongoing development of CRM and marketing processes

You will have the autonomy to influence how the platform evolves and how automation supports the wider business strategy.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Own a business-critical platform
  • Build sophisticated automations that directly influence revenue
  • Work with a large and active customer database
  • Significant autonomy and responsibility
  • Direct access to senior leadership
  • Opportunity to see the commercial impact of your work
  • Join a business with ambitious growth plans

About You

You will have experience working with CRM, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing platforms and be comfortable combining technical capability with commercial thinking. You will demonstrate:

  • Experience managing CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and lifecycle marketing
  • Experience building automations and segmentation strategies
  • Confidence analysing campaign and CRM performance data
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

Experience with large customer databases and multi-brand environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased engagement and conversion across automated customer journeys
  • Improved CRM utilisation and data quality
  • Strong segmentation strategies that support business growth
  • Effective automation that reduces manual workload and improves efficiency
  • Clear reporting and insight into CRM performance
  • A measurable contribution to revenue growth and customer retention

What You'll Get

  • £30,000-£40,000 salary depending on experience
