Join Turner & Townsend for our 12‑month Year Placement Programme. As a Building Surveyor you will develop technical and commercial skills while gaining hands‑on experience in a global professional services environment.
Pathway Overview
You will work within the Real Estate department, immersing yourself in building surveying teams. Exposure will include dilapidations, technical due diligence, development monitoring, and project management across a variety of property types and sectors.
What You’ll Do
During your placement year you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Conducting building inspections and surveys
- Preparing detailed reports on building condition and defects
- Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates
- Communicating with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting project teams in the delivery of building projects

Qualifications
- Academic Credentials: Studying an RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying (achieved or on track for a 2:1).
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of building surveying technical aspects and genuine interest in real estate.
