Experteer Overview In this role you oversee cost consultancy for high-profile healthcare projects, guiding feasibility, cost planning, procurement, and post-contract delivery within the Engineering Services Real Estate team.
You will work across public and private sectors, collaborating with cross-functional peers to drive value and quality.
The position combines technical cost management with team leadership and client stewardship.
You'll contribute to project success through clear governance, risk-aware delivery, and a proactive, inclusive culture.

- Lead cost consultancy activities: feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, evaluation, value engineering, commercial management, and post-contract support.

- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar).
- Degree or HNC level qualification.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience delivering MEP elements for clients.
- Knowledge of MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
- Experience using digital software for cost management.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in Health or Life Sciences (preferred).
