Experteer Overview In this role you help deliver accurate cost plans and estimates for infrastructure projects, supporting clients either embedded in their teams or on ad-hoc engagements. You will contribute to the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub, driving robust cost advice across a UK-centric client base with global opportunities. You’ll influence decision making through detailed estimates, benchmarking, and value-for-money demonstrations. This is a collaborative, impact-driven role with the chance to shape cost management practices and project outcomes. Pay / Benefits
- Produce accurate estimates and cost plans for large or complex programmes in a timely manner
- Control and manage the estimating process at project level
- Work independently to produce estimates without direct supervision
- Promote and develop estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend
- Support departmental objectives and stay current with technical developments
- Contribute to change control processes on projects
- Assist in demonstrating Value for Money via reports and benchmarking analyses
- Undertake commercial assurance and negotiate contractor offers
- Tasks Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience
- Proven experience providing estimating and/or QS services in large project environments
- Previous experience with estimating software packages
- Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards
- Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.
