If you a security professional with a passion for working on the world’s most impactful programmes, a Built Asset Security Advisor role may be just for you. We are looking for experienced individuals with a range of skills across cyber, security in the built environment, physical security, supply chain security and security delivery to join us in our growing Built Asset Security team. As a Built Asset Security Advisor, you will be advising clients, architects, engineers, suppliers and project managers on the best approaches to manage security risk in capital programmes across a range of sectors including life sciences, defence, datacentre and infrastructure. Responsibilities Review the security elements of capital programmes to ensure design meets the client’s requirement. Define, document and assure security elements throughout the delivery lifecycle. Review and assure architecture, design and implementation to identify threats & risks. Offer clear, structured guidance and advice to strengthen security. Take part in design assurance sessions to identify, manage and mitigate security risks. QualificationsEssential Skills Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business language for communications with key stakeholders Experience as a subject matter expert within major projects/programmes Experience in the design of counter terrorism and crime prevention measures in the built environmentDemonstrable security experience or security qualifications applicable to your area of expertise Must hold, have held or be eligible for UK National Security Clearance (link to vetting info)Desirable Skills Qualifications at L5 or above in related security fields e.g.

BSc, MSc, CSMP, ISO-19650-5, PSPUnderstanding of the RIBA plan of work and the delivery of security within the built environment Previous consulting experience, and/or previous experience in managing security in major capital programmesExperience in one of Turner & Townsend’s key sectors - Sectors | Turner & TownsendAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
