As an Associate in Programme Management and PMO delivery, you will steer delivery across multi-hundred-million capital programmes in complex construction sectors. You will support senior leaders, drive governance, and secure client partnerships to realise programme benefits. Your work spans definition, mobilisation, execution, and transition, with emphasis on delivering outcomes within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. This role offers impact through shaping major projects and advancing Turner & Townsend's mission to deliver better outcomes at scale.
Programme Delivery & Leadership: deliver against the programme vision, drive cohesion across activities, and coach high-performing teams.
Assurance Framework: maintain robust governance and control frameworks focused on benefits realisation.
Commission Management and Business Development: manage commercial and contractual aspects, cultivate client partnerships and growth opportunities.
Stakeholder Strategy & Engagement: design and execute stakeholder engagement across senior leadership and teams.
Financial Management: oversee financial planning, reporting, and governance for the programme.
Risk Strategy, Health & Safety: identify and mitigate health/safety risks; lead risk management strategies.
People & Culture: foster inclusive, capable teams and mentor staff within a One Business culture.
Tasks:
- Proven experience in large-scale real estate transformation programmes (100-300m+) with demonstrable benefits delivery.
- Ability to prioritise complex programmes across lifecycle.
- Project delivery background with progression into programme delivery within construction.
- Experience in large multidisciplinary teams (project controls, technical, commercial).
- Understanding of procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT).
- Knowledge of project controls methods (scheduling, cost control, risk management) at project/programme level.
- Effective communication with senior client levels and data-driven decision making.
- Supply chain management experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and third-party management.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in programme management in real estate.
- Health and safety awareness and understanding of CDM/Building Safety Act.
- Commitment to talent development and inclusive leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and programme management tools with data/AI mindset.
- Degree/postgraduate/equivalent in Engineering/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM).
