Senior Project Manager Health – Hospital Construction

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the Health sector to join our London Real Estate team. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to handover, specifically within the health sector. You will lead and manage large, complex health projects and programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role and advance your career within our market‑leading Health and Education Division.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans for projects or programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead and mentor the project or programme team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues within projects, developing effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Ensure projects or programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of projects or programmes, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
- Evaluate the impact and benefits of projects or programmes, using evidence-based methods and tools.
Qualifications
- Post-graduate level professional qualification in project management (must be internationally recognised).
- Degree in a relevant field (preferable).
- Extensive experience in Health projects, such as hospitals, clinics, or research facilities.
- Strong contract administration skills, especially with NEC contracts.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to manage large budgets and resources.
- Knowledge of the UK Department of Health and Social Care’s management systems and tools.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
