We are looking for a proactive and self‑motivated Senior Project Manager with a logical and structured approach to managing complex projects that often involve multiple stakeholders. An understanding of technical inputs required from a design and/or contractor team to overcome problems at the pre‑contract and post‑contract stage would be helpful, as would some experience of contract administration.
We would like a team player that recognises the value they bring to our business and to our clients’ projects and programmes – someone who works collaboratively with others and exemplifies high standards of delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
- Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
- Producing project plans
- Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
- Tracking and documenting changes
- Preparing written project communication materials
- Preparing formal project progress and other reports
- Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
- Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc
- Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc
- Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
- Project Manager/Building Surveyor with a consultancy working on public sector projects including housing association or CAT A fit‑out
- Heritage project experience is highly beneficial
- Ideally professional qualification in construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
