Job Description
We are actively expanding our Defence client portfolio and seeking talented professionals to support complex commissions. This role focuses on delivering project controls services, especially planning, across the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project schedules that align with project requirements.
- Develop project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and team.
- Reduce uncertainty, clarify objectives and improve efficiency.
- Assist project managers in scheduling work and coordinating assignments.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying emerging issues.
- Support change management processes and procedures to maintain timely execution.
- Help develop status reports for management on project progress.
- Conduct analysis to determine alternative actions or recovery options for slipped schedules.
Qualifications
Professional project controls experience with a focus on planning and scheduling across the full project lifecycle, strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and other planning tools, and multidisciplinary coordination capability.
Essential
- Degree in a relevant technical or management field or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM, PMI).
- Strong leadership, mobilising, inspiring and leading by example.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
Working Conditions
Hybrid working model. You will spend approximately 60% of your time on client sites or Turner & Townsend offices, flexible depending on business and client needs.
