Job Description
Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for Project Managers or Senior Project Managers to join our Real Estate team. This opportunity will allow the successful individual to lead on a diverse range of projects within our Central and Local Government Project Management team in the future, including housing, justice, defence, office and social infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Project management of cladding, structural and fire safety remediation projects, from inception to completion. Leading developer and public sector client base.
- Advisory support to Applicants pursuing cladding remediation government funding streams, from inception to completion. Public sector client base
- Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
- Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
- Producing project plans
- Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
- Tracking and documenting changes
- Preparing written project communication materials
- Preparing formal project progress and other reports
- Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
- Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc
Qualifications
- Recognised professional qualification e.g. MRICS, MAPM or membership of an Engineering professional body
- Experience in the delivery of residential remediation projects advantageous.
- Good understanding of the Building Safety Act and HRB processes required.
- Well suited to Project Management candidates with Building Surveying, Structural Engineering and other forensic building diagnosis background.
