We are looking for Project Managers who have experience in the Life Sciences sector to join our Life Science Real Estate team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality project and programme management services to our market‑leading client base. You will also have the opportunity to take the lead on immediate commissions and work on large‑scale public health and life sciences projects. Responsibilities
- Plan and secure resources for the project or programme, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Lead and manage the project or programme team and delegate tasks, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, using effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Ensure the project or programme stays on track and delivers on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
- Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the project or programme, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
- Evaluate the impact and benefits of the project or programme, using evidence‑based methods and tools.
Qualifications
- Degree in Project Management or Construction Management (preferable).
- NEC accredited Project Manager (preferable).
- Member of a chartered institute e.g., RICS or willing to work towards membership.
- Good knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon and Digital agenda.
- Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process.
- Detailed knowledge of and experience in large‑scale public health and life sciences projects (5 years).
- Experience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation (desirable).
- Detailed experience of NEC contract administration (desirable).
