Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in the Health sector to join our London Real Estate team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to handover, specifically within the New Hospital Programme (NHP). You will also have the opportunity to work on live NHP projects, leading small to medium-sized complex commissions and supporting major complex new build schemes in London. This is a great opportunity to take the lead and grow a successful career within our market-leading Health and Education Division.
Responsibilities
- Plan and secure resources for NHP projects or programmes, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Lead and manage the NHP project or programme team and delegate tasks, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and manage risks and issues within NHP projects, using effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Ensure NHP projects or programmes stay on track and deliver on time and within budget, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
- Build, sustain, and facilitate relationships with NHP project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of NHP projects or programmes, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
- Evaluate the impact and benefits of NHP projects or programmes, using evidence-based methods and tools.
Qualifications
- Post-graduate level professional qualification in project management (must be internationally recognised).
- Degree in a relevant field (preferable).
- Experience in Health projects, such as hospitals, clinics, or research facilities.
- Strong contract administration skills, especially with NEC contracts.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to manage budgets and resources.
- Knowledge of the UK Department of Health and Social Care’s management systems and tools.
