An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced programme manager to work with a key global Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical client as the trusted partner, provide leadership to the regional and operational Programme Management Office team, and build on the high-value program management service. We want to talk to people with a proven track record in pharmaceutical, biotech or other forms of Life Sciences construction projects and programmes of work in both the public and private sector.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the regional Programme Management Office, the key client interface for all Life Sciences related stakeholders in the region.
  • Providing subject‑matter expertise to the client in all areas of new build, capital programs and projects in Life Sciences, bridging the opportunity and deliverables to the client’s enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
  • Managing and leveraging of the resources available at the Program Management Office, and the wider Turner & Townsend business to provide a high‑value service to the client.
  • Building on the legacy as a trusted partner with the client, bringing value delivery to the Program Management Office service, providing advisory based on sector and industry knowledge.
  • Providing the key link between the peer regions, program management teams, the client’s internal and external delivery teams, and supporting business units, driving excellence in capital programs.
  • Reach back and two‑way knowledge transfer between related project delivery teams under the client’s framework, and peer Program Management Office teams working on similar Real Estate portfolios within Turner & Townsend business.
  • Full‑time client facing, managing a team of client’s stakeholders, working with the regional leadership team, portfolio managers and planners.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and mastery in the planning and delivery of real estate new build, capital programs and projects.
  • Minimum qualifications are a recognized degree (if not Masters) in Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Possess an active and relevant professional certification or license in program / project management / real estate (i.e., PMP, RICS, licensed RE practitioner, etc.)
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years’ experience in delivering major programs of work ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech or other forms of Life Sciences construction projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro‑actively as part of a committed team.
  • Strong project systems background and understanding of MS Project and MS Office suite of products.
  • Good with documentation, presentation, reporting and skills with analytics.
