Qualifications

  • Beneficial Experience:
    • Experience of utilities/water infrastructure project and/or programme management, including end to end lifecycle experience or specialism in development or delivery stages.
    • Experience of complex and multiple forms of procurement and managing NEC/other form contracts.
    • High level of commercial management including complex commercial arrangements.
    • Experience of building and leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects and programmes in differing environments, ideally multiple sectors.
    • Experience of consultancy and/or client-side project management.
    • Familiarity with public sector organisations, non-departmental or arm’s length bodies relevant to infrastructure.
    • Familiarity with sustainability and application to projects/programmes.
    • Delivery within complex operational environments.
    • Experience of working and reporting in complex stakeholder and regulatory environments.
  • Preferrable qualifications:
    • Degree level qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject, or equivalent experience.
    • Chartered status with the APM, ICE, or an equivalent professional institution.
    • Project management certification (e.g. APM/PRINCE2/MSP/ChPP).
    • NEC Accreditations or qualifications.
    • CSCS/equivalent.
    • NEBOSH or equivalent.
